Under hood clearances
« on: June 05, 2017 - 09:03:09 PM »
Has anyone tried using an eddy rpm manifold on a 383 under a flat hood 70 Challenger? Ideally, I'd like to run the stock dual snorkel air cleaner if it all fits. If I have to, I guess I can use a lower profile air cleaner. The cam I am using really needs a better intake than the stock one so I'm hoping to use the rpm

I just put an edelbrock DP4B on my Challenger with a flat hood. I had to get a drop down base and air cleaner from Mancini racing. otherwise wouldn't fit.

Not gonna happen... I have a 383 with the RPM intake & the stock dual snorkel.. It's very close with the raisin bran hood...... (Two Scoops)

That's what I was afraid of...oh well, I'll run a lower clearance air cleaner then. I've used the rpm manifolds before and loved the gains. The stock air cleaners look cool but I'll just keep the hood closed. Haha
