I have a healthy disdain for this forum's policy on posting pictures that the forum has determined too large. Yet the administrators has apparently made exceptions for certain members. I am a member of eight car forums. Never had a problem posting pix at other forums. At this forum I can't post pictures unless I resize them because they are too large? Never experienced this before. WHAT GIVES?

I've been using photobucket so I don't have to resize but I really can't stand photobucket. Too slow and too many ads. It's possible the other members who are not required to resize are also using some site like photobucket rather than getting special treatment.

I'm gonna guess that they don't have the money for upgraded server space so the photo size restrictions allow them breathing room. A friend of mine helped set up a forum (something other than cars) and he was telling me the forum generated very little money for ads. Of course it probably didn't help that a few active members in here created a new E body forum and stripped away much of the membership (or at least activity) from here.

I was curious what caused the move to the new website, inside bickering?
Any insight?

I really don't know. I noticed other folks commenting about the migration. I stay away from drama whenever I can. I've been loyal to this site because folks are generally very helpful and positive in here.
