    I bought a complete set of Autometer gauges with the idea of creating a custom dash for my 73 Challenger. It is a Ralley dash and all the gauges has been cleaned and are in working condition except the clock.

    I just don't know if I want to accomplish all of this. Plus the MPH gauge is only a 120 gauge, and I like the 150 Ralley speed-o-meter.  The gauges cost me over $400 so this is not something I am taking lightly.

    Should I try this or not? Has anyone attempted this before with good results? Any pictures would be very useful.

    I don't think I would mangle a ralley dash to do this.  I would look at trying to fabricate a standard dash or get real creative and do one from scratch with wood and fiberglass.  I don't think the later would be hard to do and the first option I have done with good results.

     :iagree:   If you decide to go that route, use a standard dash. Can't remember who off the top of my head, but one of the members did a great of a job on fabricating a standard cluster with aftermarket guages a few months back.   Found the link:     http://www.cuda-challenger.com/smf/index.php?topic=9078.0

    Agree.  Rallye dash too cool to mess with.
