Hey gang, back with another one. Just got the heat issue dealt with, and now I've got another problem…suppose it’s the nature of the beast!
I was running the car in my garage with the baseplate and air cleaner off, and I just happened to look at the rear outboard, and I noticed a fuel dripping. Not a ton mind you, just a slow drip. So I’m not taking it out till I get this sorted.
We’d taken out the sight plugs recently to set the floats, so I figured it might be the sight plug. I tightened it up. No dice. It looks like it’s coming from the underside of the carb. I’ve highlighted in the blue circle roughly the area that it’s coming from.. Now it’s important to note, that I cannot see exactly where it’s coming from, it’s not the "center” of the circle, but further back under the carb . Obviously fluid travels, so I'm really not sure where to look. And it’s pooling where the orange circle is. I'd rather not pull the carb off if I don't have to, anything short of that I should try?
Any thoughts?
