Will a manual valve body raise the temp in a 727?

Hey gang,

Just out of curiosity, does anyone know if a manual valve body will raise the temp in a 727 TF trans? If it makes any difference, it's a reverse valve body with no trans brake. This is in my chally but I was reading something on the A body forum about how the manual valve body will block a vent or something. Ever heard of anything like that?

I have a reverse manual valve body. Would think that with the crispness of the shift,
less heat would be generated.  Has worked great for 17 years.
