Was a fader switch always used with a multiplex radio and was it always mounted by the heater controls in a 70 Challenger R/T?
This car has an SE type interior. Leather ,carpeted doors and thee multiplex

Good question, i would like to know also..........I have the 3 speaker dash...................ps..... I enjoyed your new pics of your car tropicalcats........I enjoy looking at your car as we following the same path to restoration.....

Are you sure youre not loosely interpreting what a SE interior is ?   Im just asking.....   no flaming.....



do the door panels say SPECIAL EDITION  on the wood grain?

Is the headliner the full velour covered panel with the console ?     or is it a material with ribs

Im not sure Leather seats = Special Edition exclusively, either ?

Yes a loose interpretaion indeed..
It's just different
What I have is leather inerior,the bottom of the  door with carpet(No SE on the panel), thumb radio without fader ,headliner velour without console. I know it's not an SE it just has a lot of SE interior options
