He left Lowdown a few years ago to open his own shop and the quality of their work takes a back seat to no one. Google the name and in the video of their 2012 open house, you'll see the boiler plate, flip front end Studebaker truck of Alan's metal guy Keith. Scott's work really is fabulous and they also ran a Pro Mod out of the shop at one time. Of the two choices mentioned, IMHO, he's the best. He's also a really nice, unpretentious man who you really should go to see before you make your decision. I'm not related, we have mutual friends and I've been in the shop several times and they always have something ultra cool on the go. One time, it was a 55 Chevy convert that they were installing a Corvette C6 driveline into- rear transaxle and all! He can do everything to cert your car that you need and he's less expensive than the competition, too.
