    Finally Some More Progress on the Challenger....Well, Sort of......

    After seeing all those very cool E-bodies at Carlisle and striking out with my intended plan for finding interior panels in the swap meet, I decided to dive into my next step on the Challenger: the Suspension Situation.  Rather than telling what I bought, I may as well show a picture of it all.  What's sad is I still am waiting on even more parts just to complete the front end rebuild. (IE: UCA & LCA bumpstop bumpers, torsion bars, HD strut rods, HD adjusting sleeves, etc.)  Hope everyone else is progressing ahead on their projects. (At least I know NZ and I are still in the resto. stages while a couple others have already finished theirs.) :'(

    Looks like a nice box of goodies you have there SC73.  :D :thumbs: Waiting on parts has been a real pain for me, windos taking 1-1/2 months is not good.  :( Sooooooooooo many other parts, as it is a great fast shipment buy YearOne still takes 4-6 days. Compared to your 1-2. Have you considered some Edelbrock IAS Performer shocks? They are REALLY good, can tell without even driving it that they are super firm and can take a beating, they also look awesome.  ;D Yip, me and you, but where getting there. eh.  :thumbs:

    I can only imagine what it's like waiting that long for parts.  I am usually the other way around where the parts are always available, but I don't have the $$ to purchase them.  As for the Edelbrock IAS shocks, I would have gone that route, but they're $74.95 each as opposed to the cheaper, yet well performing Monroe-Matic Plus shocks you can buy nearly anywhere for $20.00 each.  I'll see how well they perform and go from there.  I'm just glad I have all my Lifetime warantee items for the front end marked off the list of things to buy. :grinyes:

    Whoa!!   Been there . . .done that!!  But that's a big part of the resto.  I usually liked when the UPS guy delivered parts.  He followed my progress pretty well!!   :thumbs:

    The great thing about this board is that I'm just as excited for you guys working on your cars as I was finishing my own.  I really look forward to seeing you progress through all the steps and the ultimate turning over the engine for the first time.  Don't be discouraged because we got there first....we're waiting at the finish line cheering for you guys to finish!  Keep those pics and updates coming!!
