seat belt bolt lenght

new set of seat belt bolts, 2 with short shoulders the rest are longer, where do the shortest ones go?

I would guess the two shorty's are used for the shoulder strap that mount into headliner corner?

Rear seat belts outboard.., the the shoulder harness has plastic trim so it needs a little longer.... The center ones have trim & two belts...

so I put the long ones on the shoulder belts in front and they hang loose, away from the headliner, so I changed them out with the short ones, looks more correct, it pulls the assembly into the headliner slightly, but no gap and they don't hang.
another aftermarket supplied part that evidentially is not same as original. I guess ill just try every one twice with both lengths and make it work.

did any of these seat belt bolts have a spring washer or shim behind the mount tab?

No spring washers but a spacer between seat belts on the center bolts.... There are at least four different lengths of seat belt bolts...

I was just wondering if you ever figured all this out, I am working on a 74 Cuda and installing the XV 3 point belts and wondering if there was ever a pictorial put together for the later cars that showed what went where?
