318 intake manifold gasket tips
« on: October 27, 2017 - 05:48:57 AM »
I have an Edelbrock sp2p on my 70 318 in my challenger and it's been leaking for quite a while. It's been the cause of a pretty good oil consumption and smoke issue.

I have it pulled off and am going to get it bead blasted to clean it up.

The motor is otherwise stock except for the cam intake and Edelbrock carburetor.

What are you guys using for gaskets and sealer? So many options and I don't want this thing the week anymore!

Before you tell me to change the intake, i'm on a budget and have a 340 that will be going in the car eventually but for now I need to make use of this original 318. Thanks!
