Replace 73 Rear Bumper Guards with Earlier 71-72?
« on: October 22, 2017 - 12:12:21 PM »
Hi guys.
I couldn't find a definitive answer to this:
I have a 73 'Cuda and just recently removed the 2 bigger ugly bumper guards from the rear.
What parts do I need to make my 73 rear bumper guards look like the earlier years like the 71-72?
Thank you in advance. Steve

Authentic Restoration Guide CHALLENGER % BARRACUDA 1967-1974 by Paul Herd shows exploded views of the 73-74 Barracuda bumper and exploded views of the 70-72 Barracuda rear bumper. The text lists some of the part numbers. Strongly advise getting this book if you intend to keep your Barracuda. :grinyes:

they don't bolt to the same bolt holes. new holes need to be drilled and other welded up
