getting ready to order a new rear valance with exhaust cutouts from amd for my 73 cuda. I am getting rid of the big rubber bumpers and switching to a 72 style rear bumper. should I order a 72 rear valance ?? I will also be ordering the 72 brackets with the 72 bumper.

From what I know, the valance is the same. As for the brackets, yes the 72 brackets are what brings the bumper up flush with the rear of the car so . . .yep gonna need those to make it work unless you plan to keep the strip between the body and the bumper.

I believe it has to do with a couple of mounting tabs, however I also believe I have intermingled them all a number of times. Buy it, you will see what doesnt line up which will not affect the overall fit.
