GPS Tracking for Theft
« on: March 03, 2018 - 10:49:58 PM »
Hey guys,

Why don't we all have one of these installed?

I'm considering it, although want to get one that is easy to setup with no tracking fees and that actually works.

Any suggestions?

This is a true story...
A heavy earth machinery operator had GPS units fitted to all his equipment, he left one on site locked up for the weekend as is often the case.
He just arrived home and and he received an alert that his Excavator was on the move, he notified the Police and tracked the movement of it. When it was clear of the direction where it was headed they headed there.
It was taken to a yard and hadn't even been unloaded when the Police and the owner arrived, checking other equipment in the same yard most were also stolen, very embarrassing for the thief.   :roflsmiley:
