LOOKING FOR USED SET OF THE "PIN TYPE" 11.75 CALIPER BRACKETS

Honestly, if your not gonna be driving super aggressive the 10.87 brakes are fine.. Way better than 10" or even 11" drums....  The thing with the 10.87 vs 11.75 brakes is when your driving a mountain road & your using the brakes more than you should be the 10.87 brakes start to fade due the overheating the 11.75 brakes are still good for a little while longer....   

Honestly the 10.87's with good pads would probably be more than enough for 90+% of the guys...  I believe Mitch has been racing his Challenger since the 80's or 90's with 10.87's.... I think he's upgrading now but if he can go as fast as he regularly has with the regulars brakes it just shows how the huge brakes some guys are using are all about the look, not the function...

I'm going from drum to disc,so i'm sure it will be a huge improvement either way. The car is just going to be a cruiser,but I want to be confident that if I need to stop suddenly,i'll be able to do so. These drums to me are iffy at best. Even after a good readjust,I don't know if I am going to go left or right.

Yeah, the only people who choose to run drums are those who are anal about as it left the factory... And they probably aren't gonna be driving much... Or drag racers who feel the little bit of drag a disc brake causes is gonna slow them down...  If you find the right deal do the 11.75's you won't regret it but don't be concerned about running the 10.87's they are fine...

Good news.I have found one of the pin type 11.75 caliper brackets from an A-bodies only member.So if any of you guys only have one,please let me know. I would appreciate very much. Or if you have a set,I would buy them also. Thanks,Dave

As WildRT pointed out on April 5th memo, yes, he is correct about the caliper brackets being different for the different rotor diameters (I don't know what I was thinking then).

Does anyone by chance have a set of 4 bolts that mount the 11.75 caliper brackets to the spindles? They are 2-1/4" long. I know you can buy them at the hardware store.I'm just looking for an original set with the captured washers. Thanks,Dave
