Extra Holes in Floor ?

71 Cuda floor pan area where rear seats go has extra holes, what would have bolted in here ? Can I weld them up ?

Am talking about the pair of holes either side of trans tunnel.

Looks like holes some of them are for exhaust hangers. If you are going with stock exhaust you should look/find a diagram and see what you need. I am pretty sure some of those holes are not needed.

Looks like five holes get welded shut.... Leave the four in the square pattern for the exhaust hanger...

Thanks for the input guys  , I have the exhaust hanger so must weld it back in, am putting a stock exhaust back in, got a Pyers stainless system from Summit Racing.

I will weld up the 5 extra holes

The drivers side exhaust hanger was never welded, it bolts in with a reinforcement plate on the inside...

Good call mate, won't be the last part I try to put on the wrong way , history shows I need to be watched.
