Hi Dave... the 1.1/8" front bar is OK, but you'll have to re-learn the whole car after a while... it'll drive/handle/corner differently than what you were used to. Actually, you'll have more understeer (front-end push) until you re-learn the car with how it'll corner differently. Add stiffer rear leafs, or tighten the rear adjustable shocks .. if you have them. Hoenstly, there should be a .875" or 1.00" rear sway bar available ... heck, I should just make them and sell them.. you'be amazed at the better balance the larger rear bar will give. Remember, our cars are already front-end heavy which causes more understeer (plowing); the larger rear bar (1.00" most desirable) helps balance the handling... especially when a larger front bar is introduced.
Having a factory size rear bar of .75" ... and the front bar of 1.1/8" or 1.1/4" is ok... just re-learn the car's handling.
