440 Header size.. 1 3/4 vs. 1 7/8
« on: June 17, 2018 - 06:24:48 PM »
I have a street build 440, probably 425-450 horsepower.  I just installed the TTI 2 1/2" exhaust system with my current FlowTech 1 3/4" headers. Now I want to install the TTI  headers.  Should I stay with 1 3/4" or should I go with 1 7/8?  Not sure I need  the 1 7/8" for my HP level but would if it's beneficial performance wise.

I've run 1 3/4, 1 7/8 & 2"....   For some reason the 1 7/8's just seem to match the 440's needs best..
