seatbelt
« on: July 27, 2018 - 01:56:53 PM »
Did challengers ever come with three seatbelts for the rear seat? If not has anyone ever added a middle seatbelt? I have three small kids and the wife does not want them riding in the car due to one not having a seatbelt and I guess she has a point. Its a 1974. Thanks.

I do not believe they did as the manual only shows the 2. You could add a 3rd by removing the rear seat and putting another set using the existing bolts which have shoulders on them to allow the belts to move around.
Current Mopar
70 Challenger RT 440-6 EFI, 73 Cuda 416-6 EFI
05 Hemi Durango, 01 Ram 4x4, 14 Ram 2500 4X4, 10 PCP Challenger 6 spd RT, 01 Viper GTS ACR, 52 B3B w/330 Desoto Hemi, 70 Hemi RR (under const)
Past Mopars
9 x Challengers. AAR Cuda, 4 RR, 2 GTX, 4 Chargers, etc... (too many to list)

XV Racing Products shows 3 belts in what looks like the back seat of a Challenger on their website. I guess anything is possible!
