Intake to head
« on: August 17, 2018 - 07:03:17 AM »
I have a set of indy 440-1 heads and an old offy 360 turbo thrust intake...the heads are max wedge the intake is wedge...can I port out the intake to match the heads or can I run the intake and heads as is...dumb question bc I want to keep the intake for a sentimental and nostalgic feel...the cam I'm using needs a high rise so I dont fall on my face at 5300 and can pull to 6500...any help would be appreciated:feedback: :rebel:

Can you?  Probably.... Should you?  Absolutely not.... A strong running engine is a combination of a well matched set of parts....  440-1 heads are a serious power add.. Matching them with that intake would be a crime.....
