8 3/4 e body question

I'm going to be looking for a 8 3/4 for my 71 barracuda  mine has the small one ,and was wondering what lenght is the e-body rear end? thanks

Most guys prefer to use the B body axle with the Dr Diff offset hangers.... Adds an extra inch of room for tires...  And the axle is easier to find...

Will anything else need to be changed over to make the b-body rear end work?  rear end has the same angle ?

You'll need the proper driveshaft, same as swapping in an E body axle... Also the correct U bolts & spring plates... Again same as swapping in an E body axle..  Pinion angle in theory is the same, but should be checked same as swapping in an E body axle..

You need a B body housing & axles, Brakes can be B, C or E or aftermarket....
