Hi
Looking for help with tips on how to lower the front suspension after the TVS install. I hope all the relevant details are below. I'm wondering if I go with a torque bar a little less stiff than the 1.14 from Borgeson it will help lower it, but open to any ideas to help get the stance right for a pro-tour themed car.
How I got here...
Bought my '74 all-Canadian car back in September '17. In stock form with a crate 290hp 360 and very low vacuum it handled like a 44 year old car. Easy decision to make 2018 the year of making the car safer. Started with Holley Terminator EFI and Brembo disk brakes all around.
I took the advice from this thread
http://www.cuda-challenger.com/cc/index.php?topic=95660.0 and did the following work;
-Completely rebuild front end- new bushings (UCA and LCA), ball joints, tie rod ends, pitman & idler
-Hotchkis TVS full kit
-Bilstein shocks
-7103 Moog offset UCA bushings w/ stock UCAs
-New Rims & Tires - 17"x8" front and 17" x 9" rears with 255f /285r tire width (minor grinding required)
-Borgeson power steering box & Torque bars
-Adjustable strut rods
-Solid tubular tie rod adjusters
here is a pic.
