340/360 stroker piston & rod assemblies
----------------------------------------------------------
Pistons are Wiseco Pro Tru forged pistons (P/N 5036H6)
Compression Ht: 1.460 in.
Bore: 4.060 in.
Piston pin dia: 0.9840 in.
Piston crown: -20 cc dish

Approximate compression ratio:

65 cc combustion chamber - 9.6:1
62 cc combustion chamber - 9.9:1

These pistons can be used in either a 340 with 0.020 in. overbore or 360 with
0.060 in. overbore. Pistons are made for the stock 9.60 inch deck block and a
4.00 inch stoke crank. In either block, you'll end up with 414 cubic inch displacement.

Rods are stock 340/360 rods (P/N 3418645) which were glassbeaded, resized and have ARP
rod bolts installed.

I used these in my 340 stoker motor for about 3,000 miles. The pistons and rods have not
been abused. I never raced the motor, it was in my 73 Cuda which is a weekend toy.

These pistons were not cheap, they cost me $640 new. I can't use them any more because
I'm building a new motor with a bigger cam and aluminum heads which need more
compression.

These pistons and rods would work well for a low buck stroker. All you have to do is
add your choice of crankshaft and balance the assembly which should cost less than a
$1,500 rotating assembly kit.

Price: $300 + shipping
