No Power to Spark Plugs
« on: April 21, 2019 - 06:29:55 PM »
Hello everyone. Hopefully someone can provide me with some assistance relating to no ignition spark to the plugs on a 73 Cuda 340. I have tried changing the Ballast Resistor, Ignition Coil (switched with another used one I had) so far without any fire to the plugs ? Distributor issue ?

Thanks so much !

Please provide some back ground, was it running and then stopped or are you building/rebuilding it?

A "no spark" situation can be caused by a number of things and just swapping parts might fix it, might not. It could be a distributor issue, could be a coil issue, could be a wiring issue under the dash, could be a ballast resistor issue.
