Shoulder Belts 70 Cuda
« on: April 01, 2019 - 07:09:37 AM »
Im about to put my shoulder belts in the cuda. My question is do the covers on the 2 hangers suppose to come off so u can get at the holes to put the 2 screws in. They look like they should but I cant see any other way of getting at the screws.

Are you talking about the coat hooks or the shoulder belt holders?

If talking about the coat hooks - There are 2 styles of E body coat hooks, the early version which has a cover over the hook assembly which must be removed in order to install the hook substructure, then the cover goes on over it. On the later version, the screw goes straight through the hole in the hook.

If talking about the shoulder belts, the covers are folded down/out to allow the bolts to be put in and then the covers are repositioned to cover the bolt/plate.
