Winchester Grey is an awesome color.  Better than the B5 in my opinion. 

Did you say that you might restore the bh 70 instead of the bs71?  Interesting.

Kids had fun putting the build sheet back together...or what was left of it!  Do you guys think I can make a fender tag from the build sheet?

I guess it depends on who you go to for a tag. Some will require a complete sheet, others merely have you fill out the tag blank and leave it up to you to make sure it is correct. If it where me, I would get or make a broadcast sheet template and then fill in what you have, you should be able then to see what is missing and through some detective work (as in looking at other sheets, quite a few online) get close. Once you have that, you should be able to get one made. Of course this is a highly controversial issue with some believing that if you do not have a complete sheet or a tag (like a damaged but original tag), that you should not be able to get one. I don't subscribe to this thinking but I am going to leave it at that as I believe every Mopar forum has had more than one war over this subject and I am not interested in starting one here.

Definitely get one made as close as you can.  That is really cool that you got that far with the build sheet.  Still have more pieces for it?  Kinda hard to tell all the details. 

 Awesome your kids are involved.

I might have a template in Word somewhere, it would not produce a broadcast sheet per se, but it would allow you to fill in the information you have and I think provide the areas you are missing. I believe it is a 1970 edition as the sheets changed over the years. I will have to look for it.

Last December he had all 3 barracudas for sale for $7500. I tried getting them but it wasn't practical to get their car from Florida to Kansas. He decided to keep them. I called him in January   and he decided to keep them. I told him I'd but the 71 if he ever wanted to sell it. Guess he lost my number.

That was quite a nice bit of luck there ed-pv. Nice the cars have gone somewhere where they will survive 

There is a '69 Mustang not too far from my house. It is sitting under a big spruce tree. 25 or 30 years ago it was sitting on its own air inflated tires. I inquired about buying it...not for sale. A couple years later, sitting in the same place but with flat ties.I again inquire but still not for sale. "I'm going to fix it up" was the reply. Well years have gone by, the Mustang never moved. It has slowly sank further into the ground. Covered in pine needles. Makes me sick every time I drive by it now.

So when I hear a story where someone gets to buy one (or three) old cars from someone who is just letting them sit there, it's a good day!

These type of stories usually include stories of the seller/owner who is positive his/her car is worth 30-50K bc they say on TV at an auction. The most heard comments as it relates to old cars sitting for many years;

- not for sale, going to fix it up one day
- might be for sale but I would need $XX,XXXX for it bc I know what they are worth, saw one "just like mine" sell for twice that
- its super rare
- it ran when parked so it is good
- not for sale, going to hand it down to my kids
