Question for the forum
« on: May 19, 2019 - 10:12:53 PM »
I am pretty much done with my Cuda and Challenger and am about to begin work on my 70 Road Runner. I have looked at other forums such as FBBO and For Road Runners Only and to be honest I do not really want to start a build thread on either. I am wondering if it would be OK to put it here despite it not being an E body.

If the administrators would rather focus on E bodies I get it (especially since this is Cuda-Challenger.com)
Current Mopar
70 Challenger RT 440-6 EFI, 73 Cuda 416-6 EFI
05 Hemi Durango, 01 Ram 4x4, 14 Ram 2500 4X4, 10 PCP Challenger 6 spd RT, 01 Viper GTS ACR, 52 B3B w/330 Desoto Hemi, 70 Hemi RR (under const)
Past Mopars
9 x Challengers. AAR Cuda, 4 RR, 2 GTX, 4 Chargers, etc... (too many to list)

I have no issues with it. After all, it's a Mopar and hopefully we can all learn something as we follow along.  Anyone else have opinions?

I think it's fine.  Love to watch other cars come along.  After all I'm sure at some point I should have some of the other body mopars to peel some rubber with before I die.  Hope to learn something from your build!

Let's see it !

I'd love to see it.
Mopar problems and fixes are pretty much the same.
I'm sure  it will help, and I love road runners!

An E body was sort of a B body cut down a little bit, so why not. If this is where you want to post, do it.

Here's hoping you post pictures and text on your '70 Roadrunner. I owned a '70 Roadrunner convertible, 383, pistol grip, sure-grip, air grabber hood that I showed at the local Goodguys Show, Pleasanton, Ca. I helped my younger brother wrench on his '69 GTX. BTW, the forum's Home Page states "...Barracuda, Challenger or any Mopar muscle car, we welcome you to join and contribute to our message board."

Well alrighty then!!  Consider it done, I will start one up as soon as possible and populate with a variety of “pre” photos and information. I’d love to say this will be quick but this one will be slowed by available funds, however there is a lot I can do with the parts I have in the mean time.

Another question for the admins, this thread does not come up at all when I click the “unread post since I was last on”  (the top one). I have to go to the subjects directory and click on it to see new threads in it. Any idea why this is?

Hmmmm.... :clueless: :dunno:  I looked at the thread and it looks fine from what I can tell. It pops up on my "Unread" list, so I have no idea why it isn't working right for you.... :dunno:

I don't know either, I just tried it again this am and your reply didn't show up when I clicked the "show unread posts since last visit", I also didn't get a notice that anyone had posted here although I selected notify me of replies. I will look at my profile, maybe I selected something in there  :dunno:

This problem has been around for quite some time and nobody knows why, I haven't received notifications since they changed the format, very frustrating and is one of the reasons I am not on this forum like I used to be.
A MOPAR is a MOPAR and the drive trains are basically all the same, even the wiring diagrams are very close for our vintage autos. I have a '70 Challenger and a '79 Little Red Express Truck and checking the wiring diagrams they are almost the same. The only problem is body panels but really playing with body work is similar anyway. At least you haven't gone over to the dark side and working on frauds or chebbies.
