cuda quarter body line
« on: June 15, 2019 - 07:36:50 AM »
The flattening of my quarters is going great. Need to get my lines good.

Question; is this a straight line ? I used a piece of flat alloy to mark a line so I could get my tape straight. I found the crease line at both ends and drew a line between both. My crease seems to dip down near the rear of the quarter. There is fill on the quarter but not on the crease line, just few heavy coats of primer.

Can anyone take some measurements from the crease to the side marker light. The pen line above the tape is the crease line.

The body line is "supposed" to be straight but that can be a relative term. I don't have a measurement for you, but it all comes down to the visual which can be manipulated at this stage of the process.
