70 Challenger Diving to the Right
« on: July 05, 2019 - 03:23:03 PM »
Recently took my 70 Challenger out of storage and while driving it noticed when you hit the brakes fairly hard the car dives to the right. Listed is everything I have replace with new parts and nothing seems to help.

- Bled Both Front and Rear Brakes
- Replaced Both Front Calipers
- Replaced Both Front Hoses
- Replaced Distribution Block
- Replaced Master Cylinder
- Replaced Rear Brake Hose

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

John

Needs the front end aligned. Likely they will find some worn parts that will need to be replaced.
Current Mopar

05 Hemi Durango, 01 Ram 4x4, 14 Ram 2500 4X4, 10 PCP Challenger 6 spd RT, 01 Viper GTS ACR, 52 B3B w/330 Desoto Hemi, 70 Hemi RR (under const)
Past Mopars
9 x Challengers. AAR Cuda, 4 RR, 2 GTX, 4 Chargers, etc... (too many to list)

Man, that pretty well covers most of the bases. The options are that one of the calipers is defective and if so, it's likely the left one. There are gauges that you can buy to measure the pressure at the caliper when the brakes are applied. A pinched/occluded hard line? A seized slider?
