gas tank pictures
« on: July 19, 2005 - 09:30:09 AM »
I am looking for pictures of a restored fuel tank on a 70 Challenger. I want to return it to original. What can I use to protect it on the outside yet retain the original apperance?

I sprayed mine with a clear coat paint to help protect it and still look original!

They are Edelbrock IAS Performer shocks, know a lot people that have used them and love 'em! They look awesome too.
I myself have not used them as the car is only 50% rebuilt, putting back pressure and fake weight on they are looking very good.

Firm and stiff yet comfy. Here's a link to a the run down of the shocks - http://www.edelbrock.com/automotive/ias_monotubeshocks.html

Cheers,
Carl

Has anyone ever had a hard time getting the replacement j-bolts to fit in the hole on the braces?  I had to grind the heads down a bit before they would work.  I may have also received the wrong bolts, but I have heard that they are all the same for all Mopars except for a couple made back in the 60's that only required one bolt.  Anyone?
