AAR Duck Tail Spoiler?
« on: February 18, 2020 - 09:57:35 PM »
I need to replace my rear spoiler and have been researching e-bay and other sites.  I've noted two particular products both claim to be correct ABS specifications but have dramatically different pricing.  I've reviewed products by Tamraz and First Place Auto Product with New England Mustang but these are pricey. The alternate less costly option is Stripe Classics but I can't determine why such a price difference.  Does anyone have suggestions on a reliable supplier of an ABS formed duck tail spoiler?

First Place Auto is known for their spoilers but I cannot recommend any of them over any other. What you want to look for is the bottom, many of the cheaper ones either have no bottom or they do not have the correct contour/cut outs for the mounts. I took a quick look around the internet and they vary wildly in cost.

Have you looked at this place? They know Cudas

Dale's is a very good bet.
It's always worth asking Dave at Roseville.

Thanks guys.  Roseville's product had similar comment and specifications but I could not determine the manufacturer so I'll see where he is getting as he hasn't done me wrong so far on this project :ylsuper:.  I'll recheck Dale's. I've forgotten what mine looks like but I'm pretty sure it is ABS with the cutouts and what appear to be hardware consistent with the others.  My concerns will be my pre-drilled holes in a base model trunk lid. I'll let you know what I learn. I'm not in a big rush but I have some spider cracking on it from some light bodywork and it just simply bugs me when at shows.
