Needed: Driveshaft for 70 E-Body wiith 727/ 440 combo
« on: April 17, 2020 - 09:03:09 AM »
I have a driveshaft in my Challenger that is too short- most likely from an E-Body with a larger rear end. I currently am in need of the correct driveshaft- which is stock #2883656 and should measure 45.6" in length.
I will post my driveshaft online for anyone who could use it- and will provide the number of it as well.

Can't help you but you should consider having one built versus a used one. Never know if it is bent, or has egg shaped u joint holes. Just my 2 cents...

Definitely second that, there is no reason at all anymore to use old used stuff of questionable origin, if you do a little googling you will find plenty of drive shaft companies. I would tell you this, I would not use published lengths without actually confirming what you need.
