Sway Bar Mounts
« on: April 17, 2020 - 12:43:51 AM »
Are the lower control on a six cylinder car different from a V-8 car?  My Barracuda was originally a slant six. I noticed that there aren't mounts on the lower contriol arms to mount a front sway bar. I looked at couple of service manuals, they all show a metal tab, where the sway bar mounts.  Thanks

The control arms themselves are the same, the tabs can be added, I've made a few of them; no magic in them at all.

I bought the Firm Feel kit.  I had already welded the the plates onto my LCA's and painted them before putting tabs on. I installed the tabs with the bolt system.  Not too bad. I hated to drill holes but my project is a resto-mod. I'm a fan of Firm Feel products made in Washington.

Yeah Dick and the boys down at FF are awesome, I have used there products a lot and will use them in my 70 RR as well. They are relatively local to me so I just drive down and drop off/pick up.
