Quarter Window Seals
« on: May 24, 2020 - 12:37:00 AM »
Is the quarter window seal between the door glass and the quarter window supposed to be rubber?  The seal I bought from Classic Industies is felt.  It doesn't fit or seal very well.  Thanks

The seal should be rubber. The part number I bought was ws52904j. It slides into the track on the quarter window. I think this is the one you're talking about.

Yes. This is the seal I'm talking about.  Where did you purchase your seal? It seemed funny to me that the seal would be made of felt.  Thanks

I looked online and found that there are rubber and felt seals. The early 1970 barracudas used the felt and the late ones used rubber. The late 70 to 74 used rubber. I'm going to see if the rubber seal will work.  I couldn't tell what seal was on the car since it was missing, when I bought the car. Thanks.
