Humidity

Hey guys,

especially during winter months, there's a lot of condensed water on my windshield. Do you have any tips to prevent this?

There are some tools for dehumidifing a car, I found in this article (it's in German, but can be easily translated via Google translate or DeepL - I'm from Germany by the way):
https://www.autobibel.de/luftentfeuchter-auto-test/

Do you have any experiences with this topic or tips?

Thx for helping!

The first thing I'd do when I saw that "condensation" is to taste it. Really. If it tastes slightly sweet, then it's not likely condensation, but rather antifreeze vapor leaking from the heater core and blowing up the vents to condense on your windshield. If it proves to be water, then look to make sure you've got the heater controls set to defrost and that the fan is actually running at all speeds. If all the above prove out, then I'd be looking to see if you're getting water into the car somehow and the usual place is via the trunk and rear window/seams, but it may not be confined to just that area. Good (dry) luck!

Antifreeze will haze the inside of the windshield.  Water will not.
