73 Challenger "The Car"
« on: March 26, 2021 - 11:00:07 AM »
Hello all. I joined here last year but didn't do an intro post.

Got my 1973 Challenger last year on my 50th birthday. In high school my friends sister had one and it has always been "The Car." It needs a little things here and there. Gonna get one of those headlight relay kits from Rob to help the 50 year old eyes at night, maybe a classic air system, raise the rear just a touch. 340 4bbl, .60 over, engine transmission matches, no fender tags or broadcast sheet....It's a nice looking "showish driver" thats been restored. Not a high buck restore but looks good I want to drive it so it's a good fit. Glad to be here, I appreciate all the tech content and discussion!

Welcome aboard, sounds like you have a nice car. Back in the day I ran a 74 Challenger with a 440 6 pack, painted it Hemi orange, had a white interior. I loved that car but life came calling and I had to sell it.

Well then, officially, let me welcome you to the site and good luck with the 73! I've got a 74 Challenger myself. Enjoy

Howdy from Colorado!

Sounds like a cool car!   Love a good showy car that isn't a trailer queen!   Crackedback makes headlight relay kits for modern lighting.
