Hi All,
Sorry if this is a duplicate post, but the forum has been kicking my ass with ability to create a post and include pictures.
Decided to sell the Cuda, just not getting the time to drive and enjoy it or fix the things that need fixing. It's time it moved onto someone else and can free up some garage space.
I've used multiple online site to try and determine a reasonable value for the car but no luck. The sites are either too restrictive on optioning the car or they provide a very wide range of values.
I also tried finding cars in similar condition for sale to see what they are going for - no luck there either. Everything I found was either very low end (bring a trailer to haul it) or a fully restored $90+ car.
With that said, I'm looking for some input from the group.
Here's what I got.
1970 'Cuda 340 4speed.
54k miles.
Numbers matching.
Have the original fender tag and build sheet.
A few features: Hurst shifter, rallye dash and color matched elastomer bumpers.
Car starts, runs and drives fine and is in good condition.
I have not done any major work to the car, but here is what was done before I picked it Up:
Repainted. Was Rallye Red, now Plum Crazy. Paint job seems rushed and isn't the best. Good for driving around, but not showroom quality.
Carbs and hood were changed from a 4 barrel, standard hood to a 6 pack shaker hood setup.
Ignition changed to MSD (I do have the original points ignition).
Don't know what happened to the original wheels.
Trunk pan, driver side floor and rear lower quarter panels have been worked/replaced.
Let me know your thoughts,
Thanks.
Will keep trying to upload pics.
