Above is c orrect. The factory height measurement as explained in the Field Service Manual is not taken off of any body panel. The front is as explained above and I forget the exact spec but it varys on car lines from 1.125 to 1.875. I think E bodies are 1.38. There is no FSM spec for rear ride height, although the factory assembly guides did have a number for this, it was never published outside of the factory literature. I think Barry Washington's Hamtramk Registery has a copy of this if you wanted to search his site for it.
Ultimately, I just set mine where it looks good. From the factory in original trim, most of these cars had a reverse rake. The rear is not easily adjusted, so set the height on the front to a complimentary level with your current set up and tell the alignment guys not to change it.
