Driving home from a friends house tonight (in the Challenger) there's a red light where there is newer model camaro already stopped. I was in the other lane & no traffic in front. I'm comming to a stop & the light turns green. The guy floors it and takes off while I accelerate normally. I wasn't thinking anything about racing the dude & didn't even really notice the car till he did that. I was thinking, whatever dude if thats what you feel you need to do fine.... Then the next light was red, again with no one infront of us. He started braking way early an I came up along side as he braked..When he started do that I figured woah, he actually wants a piece. This time I figure hey what the heck why not. We continued braking door to door as the light was red. We were both still rolling, but very slowly as we were both comming to a stop. Right as we approached the line the light turned green. He punched it, I slapped it down to first & floored it. After regaining traction I blasted right by him, he was stilll pulling hard. At 6+ carlengths I backed off as my headlights lit up a guy walking on the side of the road. He didn't do a fly by or anything, just kind of hung back there while continuing to gaze at my taillights. Bowties are tasty!
