Was thinking about changing my column car(Roadrunner) to a 4 speed... Building on a budget and am wondering if anyone can give me an estimate as far as the cost of this whole operation, I have no parts for a 4 speed so i'd need to buy everyting.
Also would i have to change out my steering column and my dash??? Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks
Brett

Well I don't see any reason why you would have to change your dash. The steering column I think wouldn't be necessary but it sure would look better to have a steering column without the shifter on there. You would need a different steering column to make it look right.

You can routinely get a pretty complete E-body set up on E-gouge for $1,400 or so. The guy probably has a B-body setup too. Add in a new disk, pressure plate bearing etc. and you'll be right in CP's ballpark of 2K.
