« on: August 10, 2005 - 07:34:46 AM »
I finished all of the outside work this last weekend :grinyes:

Now it's time to start on the inside and really take a good  :eeksmall: at where to place everything "electrical wise".

I hope everybody is having a good summer and there projects are all coming along well.

looks great!

I laid all the equiptmet out on graph paper - scaled it to the size of the garage - it helped alot!

then it's easier to lay out the lighting.

the only thing I did wrong with the ligts is not put them close enuff to the edges.. i had 3 across, and 4 rows, 12 lights, the 3 i spaced out evenly from one wall to another..say from 5 feet off the wall, another 5 , light, another 5 another light, 5, wall, you get the oicture..

well when painting I could use more light on the sides, so I should have put them closer to the walls, to shine the sides of the car!

GOOD LUCK! IT's fun moving into the NEW garage!

Looks great OBH!!  Are you going to finish off the inside?  Wish we would have thought to put the door rails going up at an angle instead the normal 45 degrees.  Gives you more headroom.  Nice job!

Looks great, OBH!!! :grinyes:  Just out of curiosity, what size is the building overall?  The reason I ask is because I helped my father build our three car garage with about $10,000.00 into it.  He was a former building contractor, so I asked him how much he would have charged to build this for a client and let's just say it was no where near your contractor's estimate of $38,000.00. :ack: (unless the building expenses are that much more between the two locations.)  Either way, you're doing an awesome job on it and I'm sure it'll be a great place to work/store your cars.
