They do exist
« on: July 30, 2005 - 08:44:07 PM »
Went with a buddy into the country(Canada) to look at a 69 camaro. Found a 69R/T charger not bad shape, a Beuamont SD (like a Chevelle but only 702 made) in mint shape, a survivor mint 69 Firebird, a Chevy 302 motor, a 70 chevelle, another 69 camaro, a 70 judge GTo, a 6??? Ford 427 cyclone and last but not least a 440-4spd Charger and a hemi cuda., They are both original and need a little work. The owner will not sell them. They are in his barn. The camaro owner told us about them and we went to the guys place and he wanted to know who told us about them. We didn't want to get the guy in trouble, so we didn't tell him. I saw them throught the window before he told me to move away. I plan on going back.and back. It appearred the charger was blue and the cuda was red or orange. The guy who told us says it is a 4 spd cuda. The only cars for sale was the camaro and the 302 motor. Just nice to know they are still out there. I will only tell you they are north of Winnipeg MB. They are not in one place as we went to at least 5 different places. The guy with the Camaro had the Sd, the gto, the firebird, the charger and some other stuff.

That's always fun to find these but it's frustrating when you can't get close enough to inspect them or even dare to take pictures. If you do get a chance and he will let you, get some pictures, sounds like he's very strict on who he tells about these or lets see them. Thanks for sharing that story!

The cyclone had been in an accident in 1969 and was parked since then. The motor is in the garage with the tranny. A tree is growing out o fthe engine bay, but only the passenger side front fender is damaged. The rest of the car is straight and pretty good shape. Apparantley some Ford guys found out about the car and offered him 20,000 Cdn and he turned it down. Another car going to rot because some day they are going to fix it up
