interchangeable

Are the following parts interchangeable between a 70 and 74 cuda??? Trunk lid? Front fenders? Hood? Either valances? I have a 74 parts car and am wanting to buy a 70 cuda missing the above body parts. Thanks Mark

Hey Focal, from what I understand the hoods will fit all years and body styles but correctness could be an issue, the deck lid 71-74 will interchange but not with 70, not sure what the difference is. The front fenders are confusing, there were some that had differences for larger tires but I would bet they will interchange with the others of the same year but wouldn't be correct if that's what you want, I'm reading that the 70 and 71 fenders will only fit their own year but the 72-74's will all interchange. Clear as mud? Hope you can get it figured out. Maybe someone else can verify some of this. No information on the valances.

The only difference that I know of on the deck lids is the bracing.  Early deck lids have cut outs in the back corners for "Go Wing" bracing plates.

I think the front valence is different too(lights in the metal part) the rears I think are the same, someone mentioned that the hoods will fit, but there were differences in the earlier ones, fenders would also have the shorter side markers in the newer ones.don't know if they would work in the matchup to headlight/grille area.  other parts should fit just depends how "correct" you want to be? Rich.

all should fit but i think the front valances are different on 71s!
