Beef for 14 X 6 Rally's
« on: August 04, 2005 - 12:45:44 PM »
I will be restoring some 14 X 6 rally wheels for my Barracuda.

What do you guys think is the biggest fattest (sp?) widest tire that I could use without looking silly?

My opinion is 215/60's - 225/60's any wider would look funny.  :)

Just one question, Why would you not upgrade to 15x7"?  :???: Unless you are going 101% concours.  :dontknow:

I agree, but I allready have the 14 X 6's from a 72 Cuda 340.  Thought it might be more cost effective for now.

The car came with 14 X 6 steel wheels with wire spoke hubcaps  :puke:

Thanks for the opinion NZ

Fred,
I have 225/70's on the front of my car with 14X6 rims. I was looking more for tallness, rather than wideness, but this will give you an idea.
