Well I went and bought a Lincoln SP-135T, time to get some gas and some scrap sheetmetal from work and start playing around with it before I jump into the car. Thanks abunch guys for all of your input. :dogpile:

just a suggestion, I would run a roll of flux core, and learn how to weld with it first :thumbs: then, switch to gas, for one reason? when you practice on th ethin stuff, youll learn how to not burn through with teh flux, and th eother? it is cheaper to weld with! :thumbs:

good choice! The lincolns are sweet lil welders! :thumbs:

Thanks dodgetboy78 for your suggestion that sounds like a pretty smart idea, I'll spend this weekend (since its not going to be so hot up here) practicing with the flux, I'v read that it burns hotter than welding with gas, I'll get use to it first. :thumbs:
