Wish Me Luck
« on: August 12, 2005 - 12:47:22 PM »
Well everyone, as you know I'm looking to sell the Challenger I currently have. I'm looking both 72-74 B-Bodies. More of the decent priced ones I have found has been are the 73-74 models. Looking to buy either a 73-74 Dodge Charger Possibly but, I did find a nice 74 Road Runner but, the guy had stuck a 318 in it. Anyways, as this weekend I will have one more credit card payment and I'm done with the card basically. Also, I'm in the process of buying this Dakota Convertible. I know some of you might think I'm dumb but, the truth is I'm just trying to make the most out of life since in January I will probably be going to Iraq and then I've had some bad luck lately with friends and an ex-fiance and everything so just trying to make the most out of life because the truth is you never know when your last day is going to be. But, I know some of you are facing a difficult time as well and I just asking that even this is the internet that we pray for the best of each other. Take it easy and thank you again.

Although your thought logic may be true friend, you got to be optimistic man ! Don't sell the e-bod, it will be here waiting for you when you  get back home Mopar bud. Forget the D@mn rotten luck you've had , the past is just that ---PAST. Your young and a whole lot of futue ahead of you, somehow I hope you get to cross paths with Don (Cuda Guy) while your in Iraq, he'll help you get your thoughts together and have a d@mn ball doing it too, lol. You need to be mentally sharp heading over there, forget the car and dame problems and stay focused on the goal, and that is kicking some rag-head ass........... got it solider?? Yes we will be thinking about you, you just keep us posted, we appreciate you and thank you in advance for what you are doing!!! YOU ARE MOST APPRECIATED  ! !  :patriot: :patriot: :patriot: :patriot:

Good luck over there.  And, go for that Roadrunner!  They have one of the meanest body styles, especially the grill, and the engine can always be swapped out later.

To those who have replied just wanted to say thank you. You know it has been in mind to maybe get a more complete E-Body but, I don't know. I was thinking like like 72-74 Chally or Cuda with a 318 or 340 but, I'll have to see because I would need to invest a lot of money into it.  I've been thinking about a few different ones of course staying with the Mopar family. We'll see though. Anyways, as for worrying well let me put this way I should have less worries come January because I should have the Dakota paid off by then or really close and very little credit card debt. Maybe $200 on it at most. Anyways sorry to seem like I'm whining about my problems just trying to get advice or input from you older folks because I realize you have been in my shoes before or even worse. That's the one of the reasons I make these posts.
As for the Cuda Guy yeah hopefully, I'll cross his shoes over there just to have some fun about reading the stories about him lol. Also for kicking some but over in Iraq I'll be glad to contribute to that. Anyways, I have been in five years with another year to go. Not sure if I'm gonna stay or not but, either way it has been fun so far and especially where I have traveled to as well. Anyways, I'll see what happens but, I'll keep you informed if I sell the Chally or not. Talk to you all later.
