Green bearings are ball bearings, the original Mopar bearings are rollers. the rollers take lateral stresses better than the ball type bearings. Thats the forces the bearings see during turns. That said, for the vast majority of our cars, green bearings are fine. Now if i was going road racing, or driving a lot of miles per year, i'd stick with the rollers. My friend wiped a set of "Green" bearings out in his pickup...at about 40k miles.
