Tips for rolling the innner fender lips
« on: September 20, 2005 - 11:08:02 PM »
I want to rolling the rear inner fender lips a bit on my 72 Challenger just to make sure the 295's I just put on will clear no matter what. It almost clears, but If I'm fully loaded (2 kids and wife) and I hit a speed bump too fast, I may catch the tire bulge just above the letters and chew up my new tires.
What is the best and safest way to do this and NOT warp the outside lip without cutting?
I remember using a bat on my friends car in high school while he slowly moved the car forward, but I was wondering what worked on your Challenger or Cudas.

Thanks Pistol Gripper, those would work great, but I can't see spending that kind of cash on two wheel wells. The rental one isn't a bad idea, I might check and see if anyone has one locally?  Of course there's always the bat I guess LOL.
