Sweet and pristine, sure makes all the prelimenarry work/wait worth while. What headers are planned? I see the mini starter bolted on, good idea if you need to replace that rascal. I put one on the R/R - 440 block. A noticable size difference, the only complaint (mild one) is that the positive post is so close to the block it is a b!tch kitty to get the terminal connector nut tightened down. Sure hope that starter last a long time, lol. Real nice job, congratulations on your progress.

thanks for all the encouragement everyone. Its been about a year since I purchased this car over the net. I didn't pre-buy inspect and after I took delivery it was such a large disappointment and I tore it down immediately. When I get it running again it will almost be like driving the car for the first time.

To answer some of your questions, my PS pump hoses are stock, I just used the cheap stainless sleeves to pretty them up. If it starts looking crappy (and I know it will) its coming off.  I had my Hooker Super Comp headers ceramic coated and they will be going on this weekend. Hopefully, the mini starter will ease any installation issues.  I still havent settled on a carb, and am thinking Thermoquad for fuel efficiency but will probably use my old Holley SA 670 for the initial cam break in.

I bought an AC kit that would allow the use of the Sanden type compressor on the SB mopar. I had all the steel parts chromed in the kit and now I discover that it wont work. It parks the compressor right on top of the thermostat. It would seem the kit was made for stock manifolds that have the thermostat located in the center of the manifold. Look for more details on this later as I hope to find an alternate mounting location for the new AC.

The March Performance pulleys have a cool high-tech look and I am going with the dual electric fan setup from a Mystiqe/Contour. I originally thought this was going to give me more forward space but the test fitting shows there will be less than 3/4" clearance from the waterpump hub pulley to the fan. Oh well, it still looks way cool. Will post more pics after I get more of it together
