    71 E-body Core Support Numbers?

    I have three 71 E-bodies and none of them have numbers on the raditor support.  At least not in the same spot as my 70.  Am I looking in the wrong place?  I've heard that some of the 71's did not get numbers?

    The numbers will not be in the same place on every car, it depends on who was doing the stamping at the time, there are lots of variables. They may be on top or on the egine side. Every one I have seen so far is on the drivers side and anywhere from the center of the radiator support to near the battery.

    I just found my numbers on a 1971 cuda. when at your radiator support looking back at your car put your hands on the support the number should be on the inside by your right hand. I also found another set on the cowl. Stand on the drivers side of your car. your zipper should be at the begining of the door, lean over and look next to the driverside cowl vent ( the number should be in between you and the vent). the number will be reading from the engine to the windshield. let me know if this helps.
