The mill looks like the 4-cam Cobra. Is that what it is?

If your talking about mine here are some specs:

The Boss 260 engine is a 5.4 litre V8, DOHC, 4-valve heads, a cross-ram intake manifold and electronic throttle control .
Peak torque (500Nm) arrives at 4250 rpm and peak power (260kW) is accessible at 5250 rpm.

It's too bad that Ford dosen't sell that engine here.

Congrats NZ... thats a nice daily driver.

Just a pity that the new Ford Fusion that they're coming out with won't have a V8...

Thanks lads, Ford Australia is an awesome outfit.
The new model will be coming out in November and has some minor upgrades, the major being a new 6-Speed Autmoatic TF Gearbox.

Sequential shifted with six short ratios. The same box Jag and BMW use.

Yellow_Fish - I agree.

Niiiiiicccccccccccccccce!! Pitty DC doesn't have a supercharged version of the 6.1L "hemi". :-(
That Supercharger would be a very VERY mild one to, that is only a 25hp or so increase over the stock output.

Stage 1 kit's from Vortech add an instant 115-135hp, then there is two more stages!!!! (WHOA Smilie)

Unfortunately the Lightning has been scrapped (no more) (kaput).

It had a 5.4L and a supercharger, but I think it was only a 2v head. I think that the early 5.4L were push rod (single cam). It looks like the new one is dual overhead cam(s).
